XIII EU-Ukraine Summit opens in Kyiv
Ukrainian delegation to the Summit chaired by President Victor Yushchenko includes
representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of
Economy, representatives of Ukraine in the EU institutions and, the Ambassador of Ukraine in
Sweden.
The European Union delegation, chaired by the President of the European Council, Prime
Minister of Sweden Fredrik Reinfeldt, includes the European Commission President Jose
Manuel Barroso, European Commissioner for External Relations and European
Neighbourhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner and other high officials of the European
Commission, European Council and Swedish EU presidency.
On the Summit agenda are topical international issues, broad range of questions of bilateral
cooperation between Ukraine and the EU, and the subject of internal development of Ukraine
and the EU.
