Working visit Of the Minister of Transport and Communication of Ukraine Mykola Rudkovsky to the Republic of Singapore
On December 8, 2006 the Ukrainian delegation headed by the Minister of Transport of Ukraine Mykola Rudkovsky was in Singapore with its working visit. During the visit Mykola Rudkovsky met with the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Singapore Raymond Lim. The sides discussed a number of issues on the further development of Ukrainian- Singapore cooperation in the field of sea shipping, air transport and communication, in particular, investment projects on developing the transport infrastructure in Ukraine. Ministers agreed to finalise issues on consultations and signing the Ukraine-Singapore Air Services Agreement during the 2007. Mykola Rudkovsky invited the counterpart to visit Ukraine in the mutually appropriate period of time. The invitation was accepted with gratitude. The Ukrainian delegation visited one of the largest sea-ports in the world – Singapore port, got familiarized with its newest management system. Mykola Rudkovsky negotiated with managers of a number of leading Singapore companies interested in developing the coopeartion with Ukraine. During the negotiations several trends of cooperation were determined. The same day Ukrainian delegation left Singapore for United Arab Emirates.
