"Hologram Exhibition “Ancient Gold of Ukraine”
On May 4, 2006 HE Ambassador of Ukraine officially
opened the Hologram Exhibition “Ancient Gold of Ukraine”,
which is jointly organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in
Singapore, the National Museum of Treasures of Ukraine
and the Institute of Applied Optics of Ukraine under the
sponsorship of Hyflux Ltd., A Hyflux Group Company (main
sponsor) and co-sponsors: Singapore Management
University, Giorgio Ferrari Pte. Ltd. and IndoChine
restaurants in SMU Gallery, School of Economics and
Social Sciences, 90 Stamford Road.
The Exhibition represents more than 30 holographic
images of one of the most precious world collections -
the Scythian Gold. The objects are over 2500 years old.
Some of them like Pectoral are unique.
The form of presentation completely corresponds to the
Singapore leadership in IT and high technologies.
The Exhibition is open to public from 10.00 AM to 6.00 PM daily until May 28, 2006, the admission
is free.

State Chamber Ensemble “Kiev Soloists” from Ukraine performance in Esplanade Concert Hall on December
14, 2005.
The Kiev Soloists is one of the best European chamber ensembles led by an outstanding violinist Bohodar Kotorovych. The
star orchestra performed in some of the finest concert halls of Europe representing Ukrainian musical culture of the highest
level. For the contribution into development of friendly bilateral relations with a number of the states and to the positive
image of Ukraine in the world the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has awarded the Kiev Soloists with the honorary title
of the Cultural Ambassador of Ukraine.
The concert was held on December 14, 2005 in Esplanade and it is undoubtedly of a historic nature. It was the first
performance of the cultural team of the Independent Ukraine in Singapore which opened a new era in bilateral Ukraine-
Singapore relations.

On October 23, 2005 16 crews let by the Ambassadors accredited in Singapore sailed for the victory in the 6th IndoChine
Changi Sailing Club Ambassador’s Cup.
In an amazing two and a half hour race along the shores of the Ubin Island, Solarmax led by H.E. Dr. Oleksandr Horin,
Ambassador of Ukraine and Dr. Kent Goeking, skipper managed to finish first winning by 7 seconds over the next team.
